We want to be as clear as possible about how your money is handled. Whether you're subscribing to our AI tools or booking a flight across the world, here is exactly what you can expect when plans change.

AI Subscription Refunds

We believe in the value of our AI tools. If you've subscribed to a GetDocuTrip Pro plan and find it's not the right fit for you, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee.

To be eligible for a subscription refund:

  • Your request must be made within 7 days of the initial purchase.
  • You must have used less than 3 AI analysis credits (to prevent abuse of the system).

Flight & Stay Bookings

Critical Note: Travel bookings (flights and hotels) follow much stricter rules set by airlines and global providers. Most "Economy" or "Saver" tickets are non-refundable once issued.

Booking Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that all traveler names match their passports exactly. Airlines often charge heavy fees for name corrections, and in some cases, corrections are not allowed at all.

Cancellations by You

If you need to cancel a trip, the refund amount (if any) depends entirely on the airline's specific fare rules. Many low-cost or promotional fares do not allow for any refund. If a refund is permitted, a processing fee from GetDocuTrip may apply in addition to airline penalties.

Third-Party Liability

GetDocuTrip acts as a facilitator between you and the travel providers (Airlines, Hotels, etc.). While we help you book, we do not operate the planes or own the hotels.

Schedule Changes

If an airline changes your flight time or cancels a route, they are responsible for providing an alternative or a refund. We will assist you in communicating with them, but we cannot control their schedules.

Service Quality

The quality of the flight, delays, or lost luggage are the sole responsibility of the carrier. We recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance for these situations.

Payment Processing

We use world-class, secure payment partners like Stripe, PayPal, and iPaymu to handle your transactions. Your sensitive card data never touches our servers.

Refund Timelines

Once a refund is approved by our team (for subscriptions) or by the airline (for bookings), it typically takes 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your account. This timeline is controlled by your bank and the payment network, not by us.
